Decision提前决定录取，此类申请要求申请人只能申请一所学校，如果获得学校录取就一定要去。截止日期一般在10月底11月初，或11月中。通常在1225左右出结果。它不影响RD申请。但ED录取后必须withdraw已经申请好的RD的学校，否则会影响申请其他学校的学生被录取的机会。EA即 Early Action早行动，有两种，一种是要求只能申请一所，另一种是可以申请多所。和ED(提前决定)的区别是：录取了之后，你可以不去，即被录取后也可以不放弃申请常规录取的学校。除ED/EA以外，还有种申请叫REA (Restrictive EarlyAction), 主要针对顶级院校，例如哈佛大学、耶鲁大学、斯坦福大学和普林斯顿大学等，规定在提前申请阶段，学生只能申请一所学校，但被录取之后可自由选择是否加入该校。RD: Regular Decision。常规录取，同时申请多个学校。截至通常在12月底到来年的2月1日。RO: Rolling，滚轮录取，是学校有截止日期，但没有固定的发录取日子。申请材料越早越好，越早被审理，录取机会就越大。采取先申请先得的政策。部分文理学院和少数综合性大学，如纽约大学，塔夫茨大学，除了有ED, 还有第二轮的提前录取（ED2）。ED一般在11月15日截止，ED2一般在1月1日截止，而其RD申请的截止日期一般为1月15日。ED2同样享受ED的权利，也有ED的义务。如果学生没有申请ED, 或在ED中没有被录取，可以紧接着申请其他院校的ED2, 纽大基本是招收国际生最多的美国大学了。他的介绍很人性化，官网上多图，我截下来了，不用文字了。申请的时候三个校区都在里面，一个报名费可以三个都申，自己排序。      纽大上海，我们国人没有高考成绩就不用想了，跟你没关系。       纽大阿布扎比，是有名的全奖校，不过录取率真心低09%，有钱外，牺牲也是有的，不能吃猪肉了， 女生和短裙拜拜了。 在学业上，理工科生相对来说比较吃亏，课程的选择会少一些，不过好像研究生期间去本部深造可以继续免费哦。据前辈说，ED2录取的人最多。        纽大本部最好的就是STERN商学院， 当然纽大的数学系（金数）也是很强的，加上地缘优势，以后走金融路线进入投行是大概率事件。所以ED1纽大的话，高手都是选STERN商学院，竞争很激烈。
