　1基础水平　有些同学基础好，可能只需要短短一个月的时间就能完成培训；有些同学基础薄弱，就需要几个月甚至半年的时间来补习。基础不好的话，想在一个月的时间内完全掌握英语口语，是绝对不可能的，还是要根据客观条件来决定。所以出国英语培训时长很大一部分是根据自身的英语基础水平来决定的。　2目标难易　参加出国英语培训，百分之七八十的人都是为了通过雅思、托福等出国考试，还有一小部分的人是为了提高英语口语水平。目标是备考的话需要的培训时间会更长，听力、阅读、口语、写作各个部分都需要时间去练习，要达到量的积累也需要花费一定的时间，起码要三四个月的时长。而单纯提高日常英语的目标，主要是为了留学生活的交流，加强输入和输出就能很快提高，一两个月的时间足矣。　 四、英语对出国留学的重要性 　很多人抱着这样一种侥幸的心理：出国之后再学英语，一样能过关。这样的想法绝对是大错特错。英语基础好的学生更能适应国外教育，能更快融入国外文化。相反，那些英语不好的学生往往会承受英语环境带来的巨大压力，把自己困在中国留学生的小圈子里，把自己隔绝在英语环境和国外生活之外。　虽然中国学生在数理化等学科上很有优势，但是英语不好会影响他们拿到更好的成绩。首先，在课堂上就很难理解老师的授课内容，只能在课后逐字逐句的去重新学习和领悟课本里的内容，这样很容易导致成绩的下降，甚至不得不重读或半途而废。所以去国外留学之前必须把自己的英语基础打结实，才能顺利的完成学业。　英语水平也影响着职业发展，学好英语是提升自己就业竞争力的一个重要条件之一。如果英语水平很差，在就业的薪酬待遇方面也将不会具有优势。各公司对有留学背景的学生在英语水平方面的期望值会比其他国内应聘者要求高。有不少的公司要求留学生求职者至少能参与英语电话会议，甚至能翻译英文书籍。
